Our Therapists

Laura Connors, RMT

I’ve been a Registered Massage Therapist with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario since 2011. Over the past 15+ years, I’ve had the privilege of working with incredible clients and colleagues who continue to inspire me to grow, learn, and refine my treatment approach to deliver the best possible care.

One of my greatest passions is working with clients who experience chronic pain. This area is close to my heart—I’ve personally navigated my own journey through pain, having had double hip replacements by the age of 43. I also have a child living with Complex Regional Pain Syndrome and a history of orthopaedic injuries and surgeries. My lived experience, combined with years of research and professional development, has deepened my ability to support clients with complex conditions through thoughtful, informed massage therapy.

I also have a strong interest in relaxation treatments, recognizing the critical role that rest and stress reduction play in overall well-being. In today’s fast-paced world, taking time to slow down is essential. Relaxation massage can help the body release serotonin and dopamine, which are vital for emotional and physical wellness. Creating that calm space for clients to recharge is one of the most rewarding parts of my work. Beyond these focus areas, I’ve had the opportunity to treat more than 10,000 clients with a wide range of conditions and syndromes. It’s an honour to play a role in someone’s healing and prevention journey, and I’m committed to being a trusted part of their circle of care.

I’m also proud to serve as a board member of Together Through Pain, a nonprofit peer-to-peer support network that provides safe, compassionate spaces for people living with chronic pain. You can learn more at togetherthroughpain.ca.

Additionally, I participate in the Patient, Client and Partners Council (PCPC) as part of the HPE Ontario Health Team. In this role, I collaborate with community health and social service organizations to ensure patient-centered, inclusive, and equitable care. I look forward to meeting you and supporting you on your wellness journey.
